this is a 2011, Jean Barault antique modèle, Biréli Lagrène Oval Hole Guitar. this is a rare guitar that was made for Biréli Lagrène and for some unfortunate reason Biréli did not get to see or play this guitar it came straight to caravanguitars.com. Jean Barault only puts a players name on the guitar if the guitar is going to that player. So we were lucky enough to get this rare find. It has Indian rosewood back and sides, French spruce top, Walnut neck, and Ebony fingerboard. This guitar is a powerhouse nothing but, Selmer grain, huge bark, lows, mids, and highs, are all exact Selmer like. Playability is wonderful, and the antique finish is perfect.
