2012, Michael Collins la parisian

Michael Collins has been away from the scene for a bit but, now he is back and building again. with his return comes the, la parisian that he made exclusively for caravan guitars. this guitar has a spruce top, indian rosewood back and sides, ebony finger board and walnut neck, it has been gently distressed to look at least 50 years old, and a very light finish really brings the tone out of this guitar. it is 670mm and is very very loud true Selmer tone great high ends bass registry, and mid range, and comes installed with a brazilian pick guard. a fantastic guitar from a fantastic luthier.

Quarter sawn Walnut neck, with the original Selmer headstock neck joint (this model features a truss rod access through soundhole)
Neck is fully adjustable.
Ebony Headplate
Spherical fret ends (as per the original Selmer/Maccaferri design)
Thick Ebony fingerboard
Solid quarter sawn spruce soundboard; Heat bent pliage
Each soundboard is scientifically tuned for optimum efficiency in tone production
Laminated back and sides: Interior veneer Mahogany/ exterior veneer in Indian Rosewood
Solid laminated interior lining (Not Kerfed)
Wooden binding, purfling and trim throughout
Finished in gracefully distressed nitrocellulose lacquer to give the instrument the feel of an antique instrument;interior is finished as per originals
